That Franco on GH is such a cutie!! I hate that he is such a bad guy because he will end up being killed off. It would be nice if GH had a little more romance and a little less violence. What has happened to all our happy stories on the Soaps.
I really enjoyed when Sonny told that bratty daughter of his, to start showing him and Alexis some respect and to stop all her lying!!! That girl has caused enough trouble lately and someone needed to put her in her place.
Does Carly & Jax want to be together or not??? Who really cares??? I'm bored with them.
I like that Nicolas & Elizabeth are getting along. I wish the baby was his. I think she has dumped on Lucky enough. I would like him to find someone new...But not Claire...Please

My Daytime Emmy winners

After watching the Daytime Emmy's last night on TV, I must say over all I was extremely disappointed. Me being a Soap fan, was very disappointed with the amount of air time and attention that was given to the Soap Stars. I really could list on two hands the stars that I actually got a glimpse of as the camera rushed over the crowd. The whole event seemed to be rushed through. More attention were given to the blue men and Lion king, etc, etc, then any of the daytime stars or shows. Not to be rude, but I could care less about the blue men or lion king. I did enjoy the tribute to Dick Clark and American Bandstand, very touching and very deserving. But I was not pleased with the winners of the Emmys either. So I decided to list who I thought should have won from the choices that was given last night. So before I list my winners, remember I'm an ABC Soap fan and also like the Young & Restless..Here we go>>>>>>....
Outstanding Younger Actress...Julie Marie Berman- only because I have not seen the other actresses work, so I go with her. She is a GH girl. Go Lulu!!!
Outstanding Younger Actor---Even though I really like Billy Miller from Y&R, I would had to have given this emmy to Scott Clifton-OLTL- hands down. Scott Clifton is one of the best actors on TV period. You just can't beat him. I loved him on GH and on OLTL. Love you Scott.
Outstanding Supporting Actress- Bree Williamson- OLTL- love her work!!!
Outstanding Supporting Actor--Jonathan Jackson- GH this is another exceptionally talented actor. He and Scott Clifton are two of the best. Love, Love Love him...
Outstanding Lead Actress--Sarah Brown- GH- that girl can play bad like no other I know. She is the bomb.
Outstanding Lead Actor--Doug Davidson--Y&R- this guy had a lot of great material to work with this past year dealing with his crazy sister. He did a wonderful job. That man can cry at the drop of a hat and I know that is hard for Men to do. I applaud him for being able to do that.
Outstanding Drama- GH- Well I do have this GH blog,you knew I would pick them!!!!

Give Sonny a Break

I'm real tired of all the residents of Port Charles giving Sonny such a hard time for the mess Michael is in. Yes he did have a hand in it, but so did a lot of others and everyone is getting off easy except Sonny. It was actually Jason idea to cover the murder of Claudia and had things set into motion before he even talked to Sonny. I applaud all that Jason has done to help Michael. Sonny has tried to help too, don't forget he went on trial and was almost found guilty. And how about Ms. Carly!!! What a joke she is. Tell me what she has done to try and help Michael. She went right along with the cover up plan and then lied on the Stand, no not once, but twice. Now she thinks she is all high and mighty, like she is an innocent party. Plus the fact that she had Jax to adopt Morgan, what a slap in the face to Sonny. Sonny the man who she so easily jumps into the bed at any chance. I know Sonny is not perfect, but he is no worse than any one else in Port Charles and should not be treated like dirt on everyone feet..And don't even get me started on that bratty Kristina!!!!!

Feeling bad for Michael

Since the last time I posted, Michael has grown up and already had two different faces. I really liked the first Michael recast and was sad to see him leave. But I do like this Michael too, except for the fact that they put him in the slammer. I'm not sure where GH is going with this story line. I really do not like those prison story lines and they are really depressing. I hope Michael and Jason too, will be released soon.

No more Ric ????

I read this week in one of the soap opera magazines that Rick Hearst is leaving GH. He had been dropped to reoccurring status and was quickly snapped up by The Bold and Beautiful. Rick is a great actor and just last year won an emmy for his work on GH. I know all the soaps are suffering from budget cuts, but they need to hold onto to their good actors. GH has always been a show that was rich is history, but lately we have lost so many great actors and they keep bringing in these new characters who I really could do without and whom I know nothing about. I know the character of Ric was bad at times, but I also liked him. There was so much they could have done with his character. I was hoping in time that Ric and Sonny could become real brothers and like each other. He could have been a supportive Uncle to Michael and Morgan. Not to mention that he always had a great chemistry with any of the ladies they put him with. I liked him best when he was with Elizabeth. She always brought out the best in him. I could go on and on, but it would do no good. The damage has been done and we will be losing another great actor. Oh well Ric. you will still have a place in my heart..........

Welcome Back Michael

I'm usually not a fan of aging the children so fast on the Soaps, but sometimes it can open the door for a lot of great new storylines. I loved the little boy who played Michael for years and will miss him. But I think I will like the new Michael as well for different reasons. Michael is awake and well and not pleased with his Mom right now. The only time I liked the character of Carly was when it was played by Tamara Braun. Tamara was able to play Carly with her hard side, but she also could bring out a soft side in Carly that none of the other actresses have been able to do. Ever since Carly rolled into town, she has been hell bent on stepping on whoever she feels gets in her way. She came into town to destroy her own Mom and break up her marriage and has not stopped rolling over whoever she wants, with Jason and Sonny always covering her back. Now her own Son who she has drug all over Port Charles from home to home, has a problem with her. He is too big now for her do drag around and she has to face the music. She has no one to hid behind. I'm looking forward to seeing how she deals with this . I think the aging of all Sonny's children will be interesting ..I guess time will tell...

Hello Again

I took some time off blogging because I had a little run in with carpal tunnel. I decided since my work involved so much computer, I would limit my time otherwise. So back to General Hospital,I still have been watching and much has happened. Take for example Sonny and Claudia!!!! Who would have thought ????? I'm not sure who I want with Sonny, but it is not Claudia. She is the reason his son is in a comma.... It makes me cringe every time he is tender with her. I'm hoping that Ric will be the father. Sonny has enough kids and drama for one soul. Ric could use another off spring. Who would you like the father to be?????

The war is on

Everyone warned Sonny, but he did not listen and now the war is on. I must admit it is exciting to watch, but I dread to see who they kill off this time. I hope it will not be one of my favorites. I do hope that this somehow brings Jason and Sonny back on the same side. I really enjoyed watching Laura. At least they did not put her back in that coma!!!!!!!! I liked the scenes with Robin, Patrick and the new baby (Emma Grace).......How sweet!!!!!!!!

GH week 10/31/08

I enjoyed this week on GH. I loved seeing everyone getting ready for Robin and Patrick's wedding. I thought it was so funny when Edward saw Sonny come in and made the remark "everyone drop to the ground, I'm sure we are about to be in the middle of gun fire. I wish they could have got married before Robin's water broke. I also enjoyed Laura and Scotty on their trip and was glad when he finally did tell Laura that Luke is married to Tracey. Even though I like Laura and Luke together, she needed to know the truth. The look on Laura face when she saw Luke was priceless. She wanted to smile but you could see the sadness in her eyes. She is such a good actress... I'm glad that Sonny is sticking to his guns (so to speak) and is still refusing to marry Claudia. I just do not like them as a couple. Poor Sonny the week did not end that well for him..........

GH week of 10/17/08

My Fall wishes for GH..........
1. Sonny and Jason reunite and run the mob together.
2. Sam to get pregnant with Lucky's baby.
3. Jason & Elizabeth and Sonny & Kate find a little happiness together.
4. Laura comes back to stay.
I remember when the Holidays were celebrated on this show. Now a days they hardly even mention the Holidays. This is still my favorite show, but I miss the glory days. I miss the love and laughter and the great history this show use to celebrate. We have so much violence around us in real life, it is nice to tune into a softer happier place in our reel life. Heres hoping that we can get these days back...I still have hope........

GH week of 9/26/08

What a interesting week of GH... I enjoyed watching everyone prepare for the wedding and seeing all the pretty gowns the ladies picked out. I thought it was sweet that Sonny wanted to reunite Olivia and Kate, even thought it did not turn out like he thought. I did feel bad for Kate. She can be a bit snotty at times, but I think she really has a good heart. I felt bad that Carly and Claudia were at her Wedding, this was suppose to be her Special day. With Carly there that was the worse omen of all... Since I'm sure that Kate is the one who ends up getting shot...I guess this is far from the best day of her life. I just hope that will not kill her off and I hope this will be the last time she gets shot this year, of course we still have 3 months to go...we will see. I'm actually rooting for Johnny and Lulu to be together, when they are not closed up in an apartment, they do make a good couple. But I predict with the shooting, that all the Mob guys (Jason, Sonny and Johnny) will postpone any romantic feelings they have for a while. Just when things were getting good....until next time.....

GH week of 9/12/08

This week on GH---Wow, how convincing was Claudia on the witness stand? I know the real story behind Logan's death, but I almost found myself believing her. That girl can really cry too. Well I do hope the jury will find Johnny-- not guilty. Has anyone noticed that no one speaks to Laura except Lulu??????? Maybe Laura is really not back and Lulu is crazier than we all thought. I do not know. Just something I have noticed. I did really enjoy the show this week. We will see what this week brings.........

GH week of 9/5/08

Alot of explosions last week and more to come this week. The secret that Sonny and Carly slept together is finally out to the two people who actually needed to know. Thank goodness. Lulu is finally doing better...again another thank goodness. I think maybe GH is starting to turn around and get better. One can only hope. Here are some hopes of mine. 1. I would love to see Laura stick around for a long time. 2. I would like to see Johnny and Lulu have some happy times. 3. I would love to see Jax throw Carly out on her butt and she has no one to lean on. Maybe then she could learn to grow up. 4. Jason and Elizabeth have some happy times. 5. I do hope Sonny and Kate can work things out. We will see, until next week..............

GH week of 8/29/08

This week on GH it sure was nice to see Laura again. I just hate that her visit will be short lived. I always enjoy Genie Francis as a Actress. I hope GH will decide to keep her this time. There is much storyline possibilities with her. The trail for Johnny will be starting soon. I think it may be pretty interesting. I also enjoyed seeing Jason and Elizabeth together. I think Jason deserves a little happiness. I use to love Jason and Sam together, but I changed my mind. I really like Sam with Lucky now. I think they make a interesting couple. How nice if Sam would get pregnant...I mean they said Courtney could never have a child but she did. Anything is possible in soap land. Can you imagine how pretty a Sam and Lucky baby would be? As for Carly she is still a pain in the behind to me. I wish that new mob guy would just kidnap her and take her far, far, away... Jax deserves so much better. Until next time.....

GH week of 8/15/08

This week on GH we found out that Robin and Patrick is having a girl. How nice if they would name her Georgie.... Since she was conceived the day of Georgie's funeral. I think it would be a good way to honor a good character that they killed off. I still have major issues with that. Anyway this week
Kate is bothering me a little. Just when Sonny and Jason were talking and trying to get things worked out, Kate comes in and interrupts . Who knows maybe one day they will be friends again. I'm glad that Johnny finally took Lulu to the hospital. She really needs the help. I'm looking forward to seeing Laura again. Until next week.......

GH week of 8/8/08

This week on GH not too much to report on. I'm really tired of all the mob story lines and I'm ready for a little love and romance in the afternoon again. I do think the make up department is doing a great job on the ghost of Logan. He really does look scary. I especially liked the scene where Lulu woke up to the piano playing and thought it was Johnny. It was real creepy when she looked up and there sat Logan... I think Lulu is maybe going to need more than just her Mom to help her with all of this. Only time will tell. Until next week..................

GH week ending 8/1/08

This week on GH I really enjoyed hearing Rick Springfield's new song. I really like his music!!! You go Rick!! I also really enjoyed seeing Noah and Anna drawing closer. It is nice to just see a couple not ( involved in the Mob). I think they will be a good couple... Speaking of Mob issues like I mentioned last week I do not like it when Jason and Sonny are at odds. The Mob is much more exciting when those two are working together. I find it real boring the way it is now. Johnny and Lulu ordeal is not that interesting either. They are just stuck in that room with the weird girl across the hall coming over about 10 times a day. Not the exciting adventures Luke and Laura got into when they were on the run. Remember when they got locked up in the Department store...Oh how romantic that was. I think they are bringing Laura back for a brief visit (Blah) to help Lulu out. That will probably be the best part of all of this. Until next week..................

Gh week of 7/25/08

I really do not know why the writers are creating this wedge between Sonny and Jason. Sonny is trying to help Jason with the New Mob guy, but I'm sure Jason will not see it that way. I love when Jason and Sonny are a team. I do not like when they pit Jason and Sonny against one another. They did this a while back, when Sonny was dating Emily and it did not go over good with the viewers. I do not think this will either. I'm happy that Jax walked out on Carly. I think he is way too good for her. I think it is funny that Kate turned the table on her and got her in trouble. That is something Carly does all the time. Now she knows how it feels to be on the receiving line of deceit. Until next week...................

GH week of 7/18/08

This week on GH it was good to see Dr Noah Drake back. I really like Rick Springfield and enjoy any time he can spare to be at the Hospital. I hope that He and Anna get together. I think they would make a good couple. If he and Patrick can just get there relationship worked out, it will be great. Poor Lulu is really having a hard time...But great news for any Genie Francis fans(which I'm a big fan of hers). She is coming back to General Hospital and maybe she can help Lulu. There is so much that Laura could be doing right now. I just hope they plan on keeping her around and not let her fall back into that coma. We will see.........Until next time

Night shift

The Night Shift the night time spin off from GH starts July22. This will air on Soap Opera network. I do not get the Soap Opera network, but you can watch it on line. I did not watch last year. This year I'm a little more interested. The main reason is because Antonio Sabato Jr is going to be on the Night shift. I loved when he was on the show. I really liked his character (Jagger) and he is real good to look at. I remember him and Karen were a great couple on the show. That was before Jason had the accident that changed him from Doctor to Mob Man. Jason and Jagger both liked Karen. It was really a fun time on the show. I may have to check out Night shift just to see what Jagger has been up to all these years. Maybe Jagger will decide to stay and become a regular on the daytime show. We can only hope.........
