Gh week of 7/25/08

I really do not know why the writers are creating this wedge between Sonny and Jason. Sonny is trying to help Jason with the New Mob guy, but I'm sure Jason will not see it that way. I love when Jason and Sonny are a team. I do not like when they pit Jason and Sonny against one another. They did this a while back, when Sonny was dating Emily and it did not go over good with the viewers. I do not think this will either. I'm happy that Jax walked out on Carly. I think he is way too good for her. I think it is funny that Kate turned the table on her and got her in trouble. That is something Carly does all the time. Now she knows how it feels to be on the receiving line of deceit. Until next week...................

GH week of 7/18/08

This week on GH it was good to see Dr Noah Drake back. I really like Rick Springfield and enjoy any time he can spare to be at the Hospital. I hope that He and Anna get together. I think they would make a good couple. If he and Patrick can just get there relationship worked out, it will be great. Poor Lulu is really having a hard time...But great news for any Genie Francis fans(which I'm a big fan of hers). She is coming back to General Hospital and maybe she can help Lulu. There is so much that Laura could be doing right now. I just hope they plan on keeping her around and not let her fall back into that coma. We will see.........Until next time

Night shift

The Night Shift the night time spin off from GH starts July22. This will air on Soap Opera network. I do not get the Soap Opera network, but you can watch it on line. I did not watch last year. This year I'm a little more interested. The main reason is because Antonio Sabato Jr is going to be on the Night shift. I loved when he was on the show. I really liked his character (Jagger) and he is real good to look at. I remember him and Karen were a great couple on the show. That was before Jason had the accident that changed him from Doctor to Mob Man. Jason and Jagger both liked Karen. It was really a fun time on the show. I may have to check out Night shift just to see what Jagger has been up to all these years. Maybe Jagger will decide to stay and become a regular on the daytime show. We can only hope.........

Plum Pretty

I'm really into fashion and clothes that is one more thing I like about watching the soaps. I noticed this week that several Port Charles residents were wearing a very pretty plum color. Kate wore a beautiful Plum colored gown ( when she got caught in that unflattering photo). She also had another pretty plum dress on the next day at the hotel. I thought she looked so pretty in that color. Robin also looked cute in a plum shirt and even Patrick sported a plum colored shirt this week. All of them looked great in that color. That may be the new popular color for the summer. Keep your eyes open and lets see if we can spot that color popping up any more............

GH week of 7/ 11/08

This week on GH - Lulu stabbed and killed Logan. I know Logan went a little crazy, but poor Lulu really did panic and messed up big time. She should have left that building as soon as Logan called her and told her he was on his way over there. Lulu is like her Dad as far as being rebellious, but she is like her Mom too. I love Laura and wish they would bring her back but you have to admit, neither Laura or Lulu can handle crazy stressful encounters. But it does make for a good murder mystery to be solved. I just know that too many people are involved in this one. I'm sure it will get very ugly. Then theres Carly !!!!! I'm actually getting tired of writing only bad things about her, but lately you can find nothing good to say about her. She is the biggest hypocrite ever!!! I think she should wear a necklace everyday with a big "H" on it. I can't believe she is making Jax feel horrible and guilty for kissing Kate, when she did alot more than that with Sonny. She had steamy sex with him. Kudos to Jason for standing up to her and telling her what a hypocrite she is. Kudos also to Sonny for believing Kate. There was a time that he would have jumped to the wrong conclusion. I sense alot more good stuff to come with these couples........until next week.......

I Miss....week ending 7/4/08

Since it was a short week for the soaps I decided to write about some characters that I miss. I have been meaning to do this for a while. These are characters that was killed off with much potential left for them. Oddly enough most of all the characters I really like... A little warning if your nice in Port Charles you may not live long. Here we go...................
1. Lilly and her unborn child- She was Sonny's 1st wife. I really liked her and she was nice, but still had some backbone to her. Poor baby did not have a chance. They were blew up in a car explosion that was meant for Sonny. I'm sure Carly would just hate her because she would be Sonny's 1st wife and Sonny's 1st child. Oh what a thorn they would be today in Carly's side.
2. Chloe- She was Jax's girlfriend. Besides Brenda, I liked Chloe best with Jax. They had alot in common and made such a pretty couple. She also killed............
3. Alacazar- He was not that sweet,but I really liked his character. He was a good looking mob guy. He had just had a baby with Skye and I liked them together. There was loads of potential storyline there. There was just something about him that you kinda liked and kinda hated at the same time. It appears he was killed by Jason, but who knows he may pop up alive sometime. I can only hope.
4. AJ- I can't believe they killed him off. He had some much potential. I always had hope for AJ that he could turn his life around and be a great Dad and Son. Again that would be another person to really bother Carly.
5. Emily- I loved Emily. I loved her and Nicholas together!!!! What a great couple. I know the actress who played her wanted to leave, but how could they kill her off. She was the best Quartermaine. She was the one who kept the family grounded and sane. They could have written her off another way or tried to recast her role. This was a sad way to lose a beloved character. There was so much more Emily could have done.
6. Georgie- This was probably the hardest of all for me to see leave. First the actress did not want to leave and the writers just decided to kill her off. I know all the shows are having to cut costs, but she was a young actress and I'm sure she did not get paid like most of the other actors on that show. She was such a sweet and smart character and we need a few of them on the show. She was graduating High School and instead of killing her they could have simply sent her off to College and maybe a few years down the road bring her back. There was tons of storyline left for Georgie. I still miss her. I think they really did her character a great injustice.
Well at least Dillion is alive out there somewhere for now...... Maybe one day they will bring him back........It is just a shame he can't come back with a pregnant Georgie on his arm......
